Construction Updates

It’s been an exciting winter for The Stone House Studio. We will be hosting the Mural artists for Murals on Main Festival in June 2024. Over the winter we have created an ADA accessible bathroom on our main floor, built a new bathroom on the second floor and reconfigured the bedroom spaces on the second floor. This gives us an excellent space for visiting artists to have space to live and work while they collaborate on projects in our community. The kitchen and basement spaces are still under construction. We dug out the old concrete in the enclosed front porch so that we can pour a new floor.

This week, the contractors are finishing construction on the ADA accessible ramp and front stairs. We will still be working on the outside of the house to restore the woodwork and install new windows in the enclosed porch.
